Photo Friday

Happy Friday, Y’all!  Do you ever feel like your week went by like a blur, but it took f-o-r-e-v-e-r while you were in it?  As per the usual, I have an eclectic collection of photos for you to peruse at your leisure.

Black and White Cat

This is our cat, Noodle.  He and I have a love/hate relationship.  He loves me and I kind of hate him kind of love him…sometimes.  It’s hard to explain.  But what possesses humans to get animals that pee and crap in the house?  (He goes in his litter box, but daggum… when he drops a deuce… we know about it.)

Small Spider Silhouette

I love how this spider looks like it’s floating in mid-air.  I snapped this while we were in Washington, D.C.

American Flat POW MIA Flag

This is one of my favorite shots from D.C.  I haven’t visited anywhere that is comparable to Washington, D.C. in making me proud to be an American.  Around every corner there is a memorial to our fallen soldiers, a great president (which often today is an oxymoron), or the many states that make up this great country.

It never ceases to amaze me: the different pictures that can be captured with the same camera.  A cat, a spider, and a tribute to your country, all through the same lens.  Have a great weekend, y’all!
